Will the Holiday Card be available in .oft/.msg format this year?

No, this year we have moved away from .oft/.msg files for reliability reasons.

Instead, we are excited to offer a new, online self-service platform for employees to send the holiday card from. This self-service platform allows you to select the appropriate holiday card brand variation and send to multiple recipients at once all in the same place.

Please note:

Although you can send to the card multiple people at once, individuals will only see their name listed as a recipient.

The self-service platform also allows you to enter your name and email, so that it looks like the card is sent directly from you to the recipient and allows the recipient to respond to the email address you specified.


Is there a print version available?

For the past several years, we have taken a digital-first approach for consistency across the enterprise. As part of our strategy is to standardize this digital-first approach, we are not offering any printed solutions. We ask that employees to use the self-service sending platform page to send cards to recipients directly.


How do I send a holiday card to multiple recipients?

Our self-service platform allows you to send to multiple recipients at once by separating email addresses with a comma. The email will include your name in the “from” field, individuals will only see their name in the “to” field, and they will not be able to see the full recipient list.

Who will be sending cards to clients and stakeholders?

Since this is a self-service digital card, as the relationship owner of clients and stakeholders, you can send out your own holiday card to recipients of your choice.


Can we send this to third party vendors?

Yes! Please send to any external stakeholder who partners with The Cigna Group to help advance our mission.


Is there a cost to my department for the digital cards?

No! There is no financial requirement for sending a digital card to your clients and business partners.
